The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic business partner, responsible for managing the Human Resource function for his/her respective business unit. Services provided under the direction of this position include the employee relations, organizational development, recruitment and other general Human Resources services. Additionally, the Human Resources Business partner is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s business goals. Annually reviews and makes recommendations to Management for improvement of policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures compliance. Work with corporate and field Management to resolve general employee relations issues. Gathers information for investigations. Consistently demonstrate respect and appreciation for the efforts of others. Espouses and integrates a philosophy of quality. Sets an example for change and new concepts. Assists in developing, coordinating and implementing all HR programs, within business unit, to leverage efficiencies and gain productivity. Typically negotiates in a competitive or adversarial environment. Typically faces situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation. Ability to travel to any location where the Company operates and expand territory as business needs dictate. Ability to attend various meetings as requested with minimal advanced notice.
