Human Resources Business Partner, Field Services

QC Servion, LLC
$90,000 - $130,000Remote

About The Position

We're seeking a resilient, adaptable HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Field Services organization — the Construction Quality Management (CQM) and Commissioning (Cx) teams. These are technical professionals who deliver full-lifecycle commissioning and construction quality verification on mission-critical projects — from design reviews and factory witness testing through functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and turnover. This population works deployed at client job sites, often on extended assignments with schedules driven by project milestones and energization dates. This is a high-impact HRBP position within a dynamic, results-driven business unit, requiring a confident and resilient partner who can operate effectively with a high degree of autonomy. The client groups maintain strong, independent operating norms and may not always default to established HR frameworks; the successful candidate will be adept at navigating divergent viewpoints and reinforcing best practices through clear, business-relevant communication. This role requires the ability to uphold policy and process with consistency, while cultivating durable, trust-based relationships through sustained engagement and a thorough understanding of the business. Candidates should be comfortable earning credibility over time through demonstrated reliability and hands-on partnership, rather than through process alone. Key areas of focus include: Employee Relations & Trust-Building: Navigating challenging scenarios, unfavorable job site dynamics, and a historically under-supported employee population, while establishing credibility through authentic engagement. Attrition & Retention: Addressing turnover connected to the demands of frequent travel, and bringing fresh, creative thinking to retention strategies and the overall employee experience. Compensation Support: Partnering with Total Rewards on salary benchmarking to ensure competitive, appropriate pay structures for this unique population. Policy & Process Enforcement: Driving consistent application of HR policy and process in an environment where informal norms and management gaps have created inconsistency.
