About The Position

As a Level II HR Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role supporting leaders and employees across Flight Centre Canada. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in employee relations and complex people matters. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping leaders navigate challenges with confidence, fairness, and sound judgment. Your work will directly shape a consistent, engaging, and compliant workplace experience.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of progressive HR experience with strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • 2–4 years of direct experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and leader coaching.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex people matters with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable balancing tactical HR delivery with strategic thinking.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

  • French language skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support across Canada, responding to employee and leader inquiries and proactively resolving people issues.
  • Manage a high-volume employee relations caseload from intake to resolution, ensuring clear SLAs, thorough documentation, and follow-up.
  • Conduct impartial workplace investigations, including planning, interviews, fact-finding, analysis, and reporting.
  • Coach and advise leaders on performance management, progressive discipline, documentation, and compliance.
  • Facilitate difficult conversations and influence fair, consistent, and defensible outcomes aligned to policy and precedent.
  • Track ER trends and outcomes, recommending training or process improvements.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of Workday HRIS, including training, data maintenance, and process updates.
  • Assist with HR initiatives such as policy updates, leadership development, and change management activities.
  • Educate leaders on HR processes, policies, and provincial legislative requirements.
  • Assist with HR documentation and administrative tasks as required.
