What You'll Be Doing As an HR Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced HR and Talent Acquisition professionals while supporting a variety of initiatives that impact the employee experience.
Requirements
- Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, payroll, administration, customer service, or office support
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers
- Post job openings on job boards and social media platforms
- Screen resumes and assist with candidate selection
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Support career fairs, recruiting events, and campus hiring initiatives
- Help create a positive and professional candidate experience
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation scheduling
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support employee lifecycle activities including promotions, transfers, and offboarding
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR processes and programs
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and timekeeping administration
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports
- Update HR systems and ensure accurate employee information
- Generate HR reports and support compliance initiatives
- Support employee engagement and training programs
