About The Position

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Position Summary: The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for supporting the Human Resources function, member related activities, projects and administrative tasks as defined below.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business or related field of study.
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience as an Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Coordinator, or office administrative role/environment is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Must be able to deal with confidential information in a professional manner associated with the role.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in working with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral & written communication skills.
  • Accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Team player, cooperative, fast-learner.
  • Strong multitasking skills, proactive self-starter.
  • Organized and focused.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of employee personnel files and HRIS records.
  • Ensure employee files and processes comply with company policies and labor laws.
  • Support audits and HR reporting by preparing data and documentation.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by gathering and verifying timekeeping data.
  • Support benefits enrollment and respond to basic benefits inquiries.
  • Assist with onboarding activities by preparing new-hire documentation, confirming completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens, and supporting first-day orientation.
  • Initiates Member Life Event forms.
  • Serves as first point of contact for employees to resolve/assist with routine questions and requests.
  • Track employee trainings and compliance records.
  • Assist in scheduling and facilitating safety meetings in Spanish, as needed.
