The Human Resource Assistant is responsible to be assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources. This position requires positive communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a solution-focused manner and collaborate effectively with staff, vendors and community partners. Key Responsibilities This position will support all human resources functions for the agency, including Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Performance Management, Onboarding/Offboarding. The HR Assistant must be a self-starter, action driven, flexible in changing direction and methods, and excel at managing multiple priorities, succeed in communicating with all levels within the organization and provide immediate contribution to the development and delivery of effective HR solutions. Attend Recruitment event planning and implementation within collaboration with the Recruitment department. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of all staff Self-directed and able to work independently, and as a positive member of a team. Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and travel to multiple agency worksites.
