About The Position

Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and recruitment support to the Firm’s Human Resources and Recruiting teams. This position plays a key role in coordinating hiring activities, maintaining recruitment records, and supporting day-to-day HR operations across multiple office locations. The Human Resources Assistant will support the Firm’s recruitment efforts by coordinating candidate activities, tracking applicant progress, and partnering with hiring attorneys and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process. This role is responsible for scheduling interviews, meetings, and video calls through Microsoft Teams and Outlook Calendar, maintaining accurate recruitment data and electronic files, and ensuring consistency across internal systems and databases. The position will also draft, format, edit, and proofread recruitment-related correspondence and documents while providing general administrative support to the Human Resources, Recruiting, and Management teams. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while interacting professionally with internal and external contacts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment, preferably supporting recruiting, human resources, or administrative functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database management systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
