About The Position

The College of Nursing is seeking 1-2 detail-oriented and customer-service-focused OPS Part-Time Human Resources Assistant(s) to support daily HR operations. This position provides administrative and transactional support across multiple HR functions, including onboarding, personnel records, recruitment coordination, and general HR services for faculty, staff, and students.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of appropriate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing and processing onboarding packets, coordinating new hire paperwork, and ensuring compliance with university policies
  • Support recruitment activities by posting job announcements, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of HR data
  • Assist with OPS hiring processes, including appointment creation, and terminations
  • Coordinate with hiring departments to ensure timely completion of HR transactions
  • Support timekeeping processes and assist employees with time entry questions as needed
  • Prepare reports, track HR-related metrics, and assist with data entry and file management
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including answering inquiries and assisting with special projects
