About The Position

McCLARIN Composites is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, 1st shift position located at the corporate office in Hanover, PA. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to human resources operations and report to the Human Resources Manager. This role requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma and/or college degree a plus
  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience
  • Minimum of 1-year human resources experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Accurate and timely data entry
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process in both PA & WA locations, including screening applicants, scheduling interviews, coordinating post-offer testing, and background checks.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts to ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Conduct new-hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating training and development initiatives.
  • Assists with planning and coordinating associate engagement activities.
  • Become a member of the company Safety Committee; attend all meetings and provide administrative support as needed at the direction of the Director of Operations and HR Manager.
  • Support HR projects and perform other duties as assigned.
