In collaboration with hiring managers and staff, the HR and Recruiting Partner coordinates recruitment efforts, including networking with vocational agencies to attract employees with disabilities for operational sites. Responsible for recruiting new employees annually—many in hard-to-fill front-line roles, the position includes pre-screening candidates, participating in interviews, identifying position requirements and necessary accommodations, and providing strategic staffing counsel to Hiring Managers. The role also exercises discretion and confidentiality while supporting the team through best practices, reviews, and audits. Provides comprehensive HR guidance and support to ensure Tessera’s policies, federal, state, and local employment laws are interpreted and applied fairly and consistently. Mentor and educate managers on employee relations matters, helping them identify appropriate courses of action and communicate effectively with employees. Perform day-to-day HR and Recruiting Partner duties for the manufacturing facility, coordinating closely with Home Office HR Partners and Recruiting Manager Maintains a strong understanding of business goals and continuously develops, research and recommends improvements to HR policies, processes, and services to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Communicates proactively with HR team members and promotes transparency. Ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, working with legal counsel when necessary, and provides counsel on complex HR matters including staffing plans, classification, performance management. Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager and Home Office HR and leadership to guide managers in developing job descriptions, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, evaluations and separation documentation. Investigates, documents and responds to complex complaints, allegations, EEOC complaints in partnership with Home Office HR team. Partner with Vocational team to address performance and employee relations matters involving employees with disabilities, ensuring appropriate support and compliance. Coordinates full-cycle recruitment efforts in partnership with Hiring Managers and Supervisors to understand job requirements and ensure effective candidate selection. Oversee requisitions, postings, applications, offer letters and new hire documentation for accuracy and compliance. Develops job postings, manages recruitment channels and represents Tessera at local job fairs and outreach events, building strong relationships with community agencies and organizations. Responsible for analyzing the information provided on a prospective employee’s application, determines the suitability of the applicant for employment. Recruits, screens, interviews, and evaluates candidates, maintaining applicant tracking systems and records in compliance with the affirmative action and EEO guidelines. Conduct background, security and credential checks, ensures proper record retention, and supports onboarding and hew hire orientation processes. Contributes to continuous improvement of recruitment strategies.
