Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the HR Specialist is responsible for ensuring HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements and laws. This position recruits, screens, and supports hiring managers in interviewing and selecting job applicants. They work closely with the Director to handle compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations. This position also supports finance by managing diverse daily financial operations, including, but not limited to AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations and month-end closing. This is an essential on-site position and requires frequent planned and unplanned face-to-face interaction to be maximally effective. There is no option for remote or hybrid assignment.
