Requirements

  • Experience in talent sourcing for recruitments, ideally in complex or mission-driven organizations.
  • Sharp research skills, strong communication, and a genuine curiosity for people.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to represent Metropolitan’s mission with authenticity and passion.
  • Expertise with sourcing platforms, networks, and creative outreach techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or two years as a MWD Human Resources Analyst II.
  • The ideal candidate will have a record of demonstrating the highest level of ethics and integrity and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Four years of recruitment experience, including at least two years with the title of Sourcer, specializing in using research, technology, and sourcing tools to develop sourcing strategies, identify and engage hard-to-find passive talent, and build and maintain strategic talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Applicants for employment with The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (i.e., H1-B or other employment-based immigration case).
