About The Position

The Louisiana Special School District (LSSD) is an education service agency that provides services to the Louisiana Special Schools (Louisiana School for the Deaf, Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired, and Special School Programs). The schools provide educational opportunities to students with low-incidence disabilities and a variety of unique needs. The Human Resources Analyst C or Specialist will assist with day-to-day HR functions including hiring, onboarding, employee support, and compliance. This position plays a key role in maintaining effective HR operations and supporting our workforce.

Requirements

  • Three years of human resources experience
  • Six years of full-time experience in any field
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
