Under limited direction, provides management and employee groups advanced journey-level professional human resources (HR) support on a broad range of HR issues and decisions, primarily in matters that require independent discretion. Responsible for the implementation of services and programs in one or more areas of HR. This position will act as a primary contact for employee relations issues and is required to administer and track programs that are managed via the Aviation Employee Relations Office. This position will also Collaborate with Aviation and City of Austin (COA) personnel regarding employee relations issues to include interpretation of policies and procedures. This position will provide professional guidance and best practices for employee relations functions to include: TWC Hearings, Title VII/ Harassment (Departmental level), Grievances, Unemployment Claims, General Employee Relations Issues/ Complaints, Mediation Support, Public Information Requests, and Assist with policy and procedure development.
