About The Position

The Human Resources Administrator will support the Vice President of Human Resources and the entire Human Resources Department with day-to-day operational needs including communication with all levels of the organization on items such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits, training, company policies and processes, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality through all aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail accompanied by organizational, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, team orientated and self-motivated
  • Ability to maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to talent team: Sorting/filing/and uploading resumes to iCIMS (ATS). Assist with building relationships at colleges and universities by researching new schools and student engineering programs. Maintain confidential new hire and employee documents including I9s and complete annual audit.
  • Administratively support professional development and training initiatives: Enter training codes into viewpoint. DocuSign/Tracking of employee handbook, sexual harassment training, etc. Order lunch for trainings/meetings/orientations as needed. Processing of corporate Tuition Reimbursement Program.
  • Assist with Wellness Program and Company Events (including by not limited to: Corporate Holiday Party, Take your Child to Work Day, Safety Calendar, Work Safely for the Cure) Planning, organizing, and day of on-site support.
  • Coordinates Spot Awards and Service Anniversary Program.
  • Assist with Young Professional Network and Quarterly Newsletter.
  • Monitors employee satisfaction and promotes programs to enhance engagement.
  • Assist with Summer Internship program by collecting & filing weekly intern summaries, organizing field day outings, and ensuring time sheets are submitted on a timely basis.
  • Assist with recruitment of interns by attending college career fairs, screening candidates, and assisting with orientation/onboarding.
  • Administration of corporate time off program(s).
  • Administratively supports system implementations including new benefits solutions.
  • Provide administrative support for annual tasks including Medicare Part D notices, total compensation statements, ACA filing, etc.
  • Management of department calendars and schedules.
  • Reception back up including lunch phone coverage, vacation coverage, mail sorting, FedEx processing, etc.
  • Manages credit card expenses and codes appropriately for the HR department.
  • HR Audits (Employee Information Audit, W4, E-Verify/I9, Labor Laws).
  • Additional administrative tasks include answering phones, returning messages, scanning, copying, and filing.
  • Miscellaneous Human Resources duties as assigned.
