About The Position

The GRO program is Manulife’s flagship early talent program, designed to launch careers with the support, structure, and opportunities needed to thrive. The Human Resources Accelerator Program (HRAP) is a key stream within GRO, offering a two-year program with four 6-month rotations across high-impact HR functional areas. Participants will gain hands-on experience, build a broad HR foundation, and develop a global perspective on how HR drives business success. As part of GRO, participants will join a vibrant community of peers, benefit from professional development sessions, core skills trainings, mentorship, leadership exposure, and be empowered to grow into future-ready HR leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field, or completion of an undergraduate degree and currently pursuing a post-graduate HR certificate, with an expected graduation Spring 2027.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a drive to make meaningful change.
  • Ability to influence through data and clear reasoning.
  • A natural curiosity to learn and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through four core HR functions, gaining exposure to strategic and operational aspects of human resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to support initiatives that align with business goals and enhance employee experience.
  • Contribute to projects in areas such as workforce planning, DEI strategy, talent development, compensation, and HR analytics.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
  • Participate in coaching, training, and mentorship to support your growth and development throughout the program.
