About The Position

The HR Specialist – Talent Acquisition will support the HR Supervisor – Talent Acquisition with recruitment, pre-employment, and onboarding duties. Responsible for administering, and tracking, the pre-employment process for all agency applicants. Responsible for the administration of system onboarding for all new hires. Responsible for attending all recruiting fairs for the OCOK Northeast region. Responsible for coordinating prescreening and scheduling interviews for OCOK’s Northeast region. The job requires sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Requirements

High School diploma required.
One-year experience in general Human Resources.
Experience with HRIS/ATS required.
Microsoft Office experience required.
Proficient in Excel.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented.
Able to work independently.
Must demonstrate excellent customer services skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in recruiting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Attend all recruiting and hiring fairs for the OCOK Northeast (3E) Region (Collin, Grayson, Fannin, Hunt, Rockwall, Ellis, Kaufman and Navarro Counties).
Prescreen candidates with OCOK’s Northeast (3e) vacancies.
Schedule interviews with candidates for the OCOK Northeast (3e) region.
Enter, monitor, and file employees’ pre-employment screenings: MVR, CareNow Screenings, References, Verification of Employment, Proof of Education and Certification, and All Onboarding Documentation.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resource Department.
Maintain current employment records for all active staff’s personnel files.
Support audits, monitoring and accreditation processes.
Manage the system onboarding of new hires.
Reconcile invoices.
Complete special projects as needed.
