Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two or more years of community service, client service, or staffing experience
  • Two or more years of general office and computer experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Solid experience working with the public, presenting a friendly, professional appearance while interacting with people
  • Ability to travel frequently within designated region or other locations as required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience delivering services to the elderly, disabled, or developmentally disabled
  • Ability to make decisions quickly, and manage confidential information
  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Nursing, Social Services, or related field of study
  • Two years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge in the areas of labor standards, data entry, worker’s compensation reporting, OSHA reporting, and Affirmative Action data integrity

Responsibilities

  • Act as agency manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to the agreed plan of care for each client.
  • Partner and communicate with all members of the client's circle of care, including family, community partners, and related agencies.
  • Monitor and escalate changes in client's plan of care, services, or condition.
  • Conduct home visits and safety checks.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for agency payers.
  • Recruit, screen, and select direct care staff based on agency and external referrals.
  • Determine schedules, ensure adequate staffing, and process completed visits for payment.
  • Provide consultation and train Direct Care Staff to ensure quality care and service.
  • Monitor staff, identify problem situations, and assist in problem-solving for optimum outcomes.
  • Evaluate job performance of staff, providing performance reviews, corrective action, or other disciplinary/performance appraisals and counseling.
  • Provide HR support in employee recruitment, hiring, retention, and evaluation.
  • Process and review employment applications in the ATS to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Provide support for employee on-boarding and employee exit meetings.
  • Assist with data management and file maintenance, including day-to-day data entry and employee data maintenance in the HRIS.
  • Create and process Personnel Action Forms (PAF) for assigned service site(s).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
