This role is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. The manager will execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives, research and address employment-related concerns, and ensure compliance with company HR policies. Key responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in the implementation and ensuring compliance with HR systems and applications, and gathering data for HR-related issues. The manager will also maintain quality and safety standards, identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and supervise and develop associates and leaders. A significant part of the role involves managing and coordinating training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates, including new hire orientation, CBL modules, and web-based training. The position emphasizes building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of belonging, attracting and retaining talent, and upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance. The role also involves putting the customer first, making data-driven decisions, and driving continuous improvement through the adoption of new technologies and skills.
