About The Position

As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, compliance, workers compensation, accommodations, benefits, FMLA / ADA, Guard Card compliance, and basic HR functions including special projects. This role will also ensure compliance with company policies, federal / local state laws and conduct investigations, suspensions, and terminations. To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact, and be able to function in a high-pressure environment.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • Above average computer / technology skills needed.
  • Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed.
  • Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Must have great attention to detail.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Heavy recruiting experience.
  • Employee relations experience.
  • Must have the ability to advise management.
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must have 1 year of HR experience.
  • Must have strong planning and organizing skills.
