About The Position

CW is seeking a Human Resource Manager who is passionate about supporting people, strengthening workplace culture, and contributing to an environment where employees feel respected, included, and empowered to do their best work. Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters, providing guidance, coaching, and support to employees and managers. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records while ensuring proper HR documentation practices are consistently followed. Escalate complex, high-risk, or sensitive employee relations issues to appropriate leadership. Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing HR team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. Travel to various local and national sites (up to 25%) to support employee relations, training, and HR initiatives. Administer and effectively use HR systems (HRIS, applicant tracking, performance management tools). Analyze, interpret, and present HR metrics and reports to leadership, translating data into meaningful insights and recommendations. Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting across all HR systems. Partner with managers on performance management, corrective action processes, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour, leave administration, EEO, ADA, FMLA, and related requirements. Develop, Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook provisions. Ensure HR practices are applied consistently, fairly, and in alignment with legal requirements and organizational policies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to strengthen HR operations. Conduct audits, identify gaps, and ensure HR compliance with organizational, government, and contract obligations. Identify potential compliance risks and escalate concerns appropriately. Support recruitment initiatives and workforce planning efforts as needed. Promote and maintain a positive, welcoming, and engaging workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
  • Experience with HR metrics, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Progressive employee relations experience, including leading investigations, advising managers, and guiding HR staff through complex or sensitive matters.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid RealID
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
