Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or related experience.
  • Minimum two years of Human Resources experience.
  • Prior experience using ADP Workforce Now is highly desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are critical to the success of this position.

  • PHR strongly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Process all HRIS entries related to new hires, separations, wage changes, promotions, transfers, and other employee status changes.
  • Manage recruitment activities, including posting open positions internally and externally, reviewing and forwarding qualified resumes to hiring managers, coordinating candidate communication, attending job fairs, and researching and utilizing additional recruitment and sourcing methods.
  • Coordinate internal employee transfers, ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, system updates, and communication with the applicable departments.
  • Manage the employee digital onboarding process through ADP, ensuring new hire information is accurate and complete, including personal information, direct deposit information, tax forms, and I-9 documentation.
  • Assist with new hire orientation activities for New York employees, including preparation of materials, coordination of schedules, and delivery of applicable HR information.
  • Process and respond to employment verification requests in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Coordinate employee badging and access processes, including ensuring new hires receive the appropriate identification badges and system/property access based on their position.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic employee records within ADP, including timely filing and organization of employment-related documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain HR office supplies ensuring the department has necessary materials and resources.
  • Manage the property’s uniform program, including maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing the uniform room, ordering garments as needed, fulfilling requisitions, and coordinating uniform fittings for new hires.
  • Create and program Saflok access cards for employee entry.
  • Serve as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for employees, guests, applicants, and visitors to the Human Resources office, providing positive and responsive customer service and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Provide HR administrative support and assistance to other properties throughout the corporation as needed, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll-related processes, and other HR initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when handling employee information and other sensitive HR matters.
