About The Position

As the HR Generalist for The Glenmore Distillery, you will provide onsite human resources support for our team. As a key steward of our company culture, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, delivering professional guidance across all areas of the HR function. In this role, you will help foster a positive workplace environment while supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and employee development initiatives. This full-time, onsite position requires schedule flexibility, including regular 5:30 a.m. start times two to three days per week.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
3 plus years relevant experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and quickly learn new systems and processes
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

One or more of SHRM/HR certifications
Prior HR experience in a unionized facility

Responsibilities

Support employee and labor relations activities, including grievance administration, workplace investigations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for hourly and salaried employees.
Partner with supervisors on performance management, attendance administration, corrective actions, and employee relations matters.
Administer payroll, benefits, leave of absence programs, workers’ compensation claims, and employee recordkeeping while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Develop and support training initiatives, prepare HR reports, and analyze workforce metrics to drive employee engagement, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
