The Human Resources Business Partner Plant – Ag and Trading job implements and delivers people and culture strategies and operational plans that deliver business results. This job partners to ensure priorities around talent and performance, organizational effectiveness and engagement are addressed and enhance the domain practices that allow the group or function to attract, develop, reward and retain talent. On this role you will executes and delivers moderately complex plant investigations and people processes focused on people and culture strategy, implementation of solutions to improve performance and engagement, workforce plans, learning programs and talent activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience
  • Experience handling investigations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with different level roles in the organization, including supervisors and managers
  • Able to be flexible on hours based on business needs
  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing human resource support within a manufacturing setting
  • Diploma/Certificate or bachelor’s degree in human resources
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment
  • Experience in continuous improvement process

Responsibilities

  • Partners with essential leadership to implement people and culture strategy in alignment with business strategy.
  • Partners with leadership to deliver a variety of actions including employee relations issues, policy application, talent management and development and organizational design consultation.
  • Supports talent strategy development and activation and helps develop new capabilities in the business.
  • Partners to promote the advancement of the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for the business.
  • Provides human resources support to plant supervisors and employees, acts as the first point of contact for human resources related questions, support onboarding new employees, triages everyday grievance matters, supports leave management and manages on site audits.
  • Partners to conduct tracking, analysis and reports for key metrics, including core people and culture metrics.
  • Partners to develop and manage the execution of core people processes throughout the year.
  • Participates as an active member of the community to help build links across the team, provide support to other domain initiatives and projects, and help identify and share strategies and solutions.
