About The Position

Brown-Wilbert is a family-owned manufacturing and service business that operates in the Midwest and is actively hiring a part-time temporary Human Resource Assistant who will help carry on the tradition of over 100 years in business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in office administration.
  • Position is onsite in Roseville, MN
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with manufacturing and distribution organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations and provide support to HR leadership.
  • Maintain employee files, confidential records, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support recruitment activities, including scheduling and holding interviews and preparing new-hire paperwork.
  • Help administer benefits enrollment, changes, balancing monthly benefit invoices and annual open enrollment.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and communications.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.
  • Maintain driver's files, licenses, med cards, run annual MVR and FMCSA reports, track quarterly random drug and alcohol tests.
