Job Summary: The Human Resource Assistant/ recruiter will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. The HR Assistant/ recruiter will work with the HR Manager to create an effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Essential Job Function: Mains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Mains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
