Step into a key role as a Human Resource Analyst 1 (FMLA Coordinator) with the Liquor Control Board in the Systems and Services Division. Requirements

  • Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth title); or One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant (Commonwealth titles); or One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Pass a background investigation.
  • No felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate medical forms and documentation to decide eligibility and approve or deny leave requests
  • Complete leave entries and updates in SAP to ensure accurate payroll and attendance records
  • Track deadlines, request updated documents, and maintain detailed case information
  • Provide direction to supervisors and employees on leave policies and proper procedures
  • Investigate questionable medical information and prepare reports of findings
  • Assist with hearings, prepare correspondence, and help train coworkers as needed
