This role enforces the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act by investigating complaints, conducting interviews, and guiding cases through each step of the process. The work supports fair treatment in employment and public accommodations and ensures clear communication with all parties. As a Human Relations Representative 1, you will perform the following duties: Complaint Investigation: Review allegations, gather information, and assess jurisdiction for discrimination cases Interview Coordination: Speak with parties, schedule conferences, and explore possible settlements Document Preparation: Draft requests, written findings, agreements, and case closing materials Case Management: Track deadlines, maintain records in the Case Management System, and monitor incoming documents Legal Collaboration: Partner with legal staff on subpoenas, hearing preparation, and jurisdiction questions Ongoing Training: Participate in sessions to strengthen knowledge of laws, procedures, and investigative practices
