About The Position

Conduct and apply advanced health science and human performance expertise and advanced analyst skills to science and technology client challenges. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

Experience as a tactical human performance domain specialist
Experience with health and fitness domains such as exercise physiology, recovery, sleep, fatigue, cognition, and overall performance monitoring
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Master’s degree in a Human Performance field such as Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, Sport & Performance Psychology, or Cognitive Science
NSCA CSCS or CCS Certification

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and analytical models
Ability to build within and utilize data science tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, QLIK, and other COTS tools
Secret clearance
Doctorate degree in Human Performance, Exercise Science, Sports Science, Performance Psychology, or a related field
CMPC Certification

Responsibilities

Conduct and apply advanced health science and human performance expertise and advanced analyst skills to science and technology client challenges.
Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge.
Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Work independently with some guidance.
May review or guide activities of more junior employees.
Translate DoW operational needs into data requirements, analytical models, risks, and actionable insights while working within an interdisciplinary team of coaches, engineers, scientists, and SMEs.
Translate complex biometric and neurocognitive markers into commander‑relevant insights.
Evaluate data generated by human performance technologies such as wearable sensors, fitness assessments, health systems for applicability to product capabilities.
Translate sport science concepts, methodologies, and best practices to high-risk occupations such as military organizations or high performing tactical athletes.
