About The Position

This role provides moderately complex operational support within Human Capital (HC), including but not limited to organizational management, recruiting & learning, relocation, and employee onboarding, as well as additional areas as strategy dictates. It partners with appropriate Human Capital customers to understand requirements and expectations on administrative and operational initiatives and executes deliverables in a timely manner. The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. It is accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, it achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years college courses in HR/business/related field required; comparable human resource related work experience acceptable.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks at one time and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Drive and initiative to take on new and different projects and tasks.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and able to prioritize tasks and follow up with individuals in a timely manner.
  • Proven success in providing proactive, timely, and accurate customer service.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business matters and information with discretion and maturity.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly Proficient interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of operational and administrative functions/services within Human Capital to support Centers of Excellence.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital COEs to understand, coordinate and manage all logistical needs for a defined set of responsibilities.
  • Manage and investigate business partner and employee issues through various shared mailboxes and service connect, troubleshoot situations and provide resolution.
  • Drive project tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedules and SLAs.
  • Performs Tier II escalation support where a primary component involves the exercise of independent judgment, interpretation and discretion across various COE’s and the employee population.
  • Identifies and resolves work flow issues and assists management in the implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Provide seamless and client-focused support to employees, HR partners and managers by independently reconciling questions and issues.
  • Make recommendations for improvements, and proposes new approaches based on business need in order to enhance performance, compliance, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with COEs and HC product/technology to develop requirements and best practices.
  • May provide system support by analyzing, testing, and implementing approved changes according to established procedures and standards.
  • Provide support to COEs on various scheduling, coordination, and material needs.
  • Collect, analyze and provide periodic reporting of business tasks.
  • Manage multiple projects and tight deadlines, demonstrating flexibility in a fast paced environment.
  • Respond to inquiries from management, auditors and other partners regarding the data in reports issued by the department.
  • Work in a team-oriented setting, utilizing others skills and knowledge, sharing information, and supporting the team.
  • Ability to analyze moderately complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate business relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, including third party data and information providers.
  • Assist in training and documenting of processes for both internal and external users.
  • Perform under general supervision.
  • Perform other administrative duties as necessary.
