About The Position
The Health Unit Coordinator/Birth Registrar will also perform receptionist duties, assemble and maintain charts, maintain the department's supplies and forms, and complete the birth registry. This role is responsible to the Director of Birthing Center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Obtain and maintain American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Obtain and maintain Acknowledgement of Paternity (AOP) Certification
- Background Check
- Lab Work
- Immunization Records
- Ability to talk- Frequently
- Ability to hear- Continually
- Vision (near and far)- Continually
- Bloodborne Exposure (Refer to Bloodborne Exposure Control Plan in Policy Tech for possible exposure tasks) Continually
- Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually
