Hub Driver
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a Hub Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores while supporting store operations. Drivers use company-provided vehicles; a CDL is not required. The position emphasizes customer service, safe and accurate deliveries, teamwork, and following structured processes. Between deliveries, the driver may assist in-store DIY customers with locating merchandise, product information, and installation services, and support merchandising and restocking. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous automotive retail experience.
- Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and communicate effectively during deliveries.
- Collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers to support smooth operations.
- Follow delivery processes and fleet safety guidelines to complete accurate, on-time routes.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores, and maintain delivery documentation.
- Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines while promoting accident-free transportation.
- Complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Support store merchandising standards as needed.
- Pick up returns, process merchandise, and efficiently and accurately restock items from route deliveries.
- Assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries by locating merchandise, providing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
- Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
