About The Position

Kent is hiring an HSSE Specialist to provide field-based health, safety, security, and environmental support for an on-site commissioning project initially in Ingleside, Texas, followed by a required transfer to the North Slope, Alaska. The role supports safe system testing, energization, and startup, and requires mobilization and travel between project locations as needed. The transfer timing and arrangements are to be confirmed. The specialist will implement project HSSE plans and client requirements, provide practical field guidance, inspect work and assess risks, and verify controls for commissioning hazards. The role also includes delivering inductions and safety briefings, coaching personnel, supporting incident investigations and emergency preparedness, maintaining records and reports, and coordinating with project and client teams during handover and changes in work scope or site conditions. The position is regular, full-time for the project duration. The employee must observe the health, safety, sustainability, environment, and quality rules of Kent, its clients, and the governing authorities of the host country. Kent describes itself as an inclusive and equal-opportunity employer and offers family-friendly and inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, and employee networks.
