About The Position

This role is responsible for refurbishing and improving the efficiency of the entire HSES training system, aiming to provide HSES knowledge and competencies to all ALAM execution departments. It also involves transferring scientific knowledge from the chemistry deep-dive initiative to employees, requiring interaction with all Execution and Technology departments within ALAM. The core objective of the HSES training strategy is to ensure employees receive the necessary training for safe operations in all circumstances and to foster a culture of continuous HSES learning and development. Additionally, the role will contribute to improving contractor HSE management and the contractor approval process from an HSE perspective. The position requires a highly motivated, self-disciplined, and people-oriented individual who can provide leadership and hands-on support in organizing, developing, implementing, and improving HSES training.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Occupational Safety, Chemistry, Training or Communication
Ability to travel in the US
Basic understanding and high interest in chemistry and industrial processes

Responsibilities

Refurbish and improve the efficiency of the whole HSES training system.
Provide HSES knowledge and competencies to all ALAM execution departments.
Transfer scientific knowledge collected through the chemistry deep-dive initiative to employees.
Interact with all Execution and Technology departments within ALAM.
Ensure employees receive the necessary training to operate safely in their roles.
Foster a culture of continuous HSES learning and development throughout the organization.
Improve contractor HSE management and contractor approval process from the HSE perspective.
Provide leadership and hands-on support in organizing, developing, implementing, and improving HSES training.
Map priorities in HSES training modules to refurbish.
Identify training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-class training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, VR, etc.) for critical HSES training.
Define specifications for all critical HSES training (from the training setting to the training completion record and training metrics).
Develop awareness training packages to support HSE initiatives implemented at ALAM Global or site level.
Design or redesign all HSES training packages, including the chemistry deep dive knowledge transfer.
Design and implement HSES training management to ensure proper HSES training of employees and establish and implement related monitoring and control.
