About The Position

Trusval Technology is seeking a Health & Safety Technician to promote a safe and compliant work environment on active construction and industrial project sites. This role is ideal for a hands-on safety professional who can conduct field inspections, enforce safety standards, work directly with contractors, and take immediate corrective action when unsafe conditions are identified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction safety, field safety, or EHS experience.
• OSHA 510 certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations, hazard recognition, contractor safety management, and jobsite compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic safety documentation systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills with the confidence to interact with contractors, project managers, engineers, and field personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• Previous experience supporting semiconductor construction, equipment installation, water/wastewater, industrial construction, or similar technical project environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Monitor contractor activities, identify unsafe behaviors or conditions, and exercise stop-work authority when necessary to protect personnel and the jobsite.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, safety observations, incident investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance records.
• Support emergency preparedness by assisting with responses to medical, fire, chemical, or other site-related incidents and ensuring emergency equipment remains operational.
• Deliver safety orientations, verify contractor training requirements, and reinforce safe work practices through regular field engagement and coaching.
