Lead and supervise a team of HSE employees across one or more specialized domains (Field Safety, DOT compliance, Drug & Alcohol programs, etc.). Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards; escalate issues as needed. Take decisive action to protect personnel and the environment, including stopping unsafe operations when necessary. Communicate critical updates such as changes in driver status or compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders. Oversee and enforce corporate standards related to drug and alcohol screening and reporting. Conduct investigations into incidents, worksite conditions, and compliance issues to determine root cause. Identify causes of non-compliance, including driver disqualification or operational deficiencies. Mentor, coach, and train HSE personnel to ensure consistent performance and development. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to support compliance efforts.
