Visit www.usadebusk.com for more information. The HSE Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a strong safety culture. This role supports both domestic training and international project execution. Initial training will take place in Houston, TX with an assignment of approximately one month in Chile.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of progressive HSE experience in an industrial environment
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in an industrial or related environment
  • Demonstrated experience implementing HSE programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Hydro blasting knowledge preferred
  • Relevant certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST, STS, SMP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable international regulations
  • Maintain accurate safety and environmental documentation
  • Perform audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Provide safety coaching and training to employees
  • Promote proactive safety engagement and accountability
