About The Position
The HSSE team is responsible for maintaining environmental and safety compliance throughout the facility through program development, training, auditing and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 0-2+ years of experience in safety compliance.
- Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge.
- English language competency.
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support the EHS Supervisor/Manager with the development and implementation of policies, programs and procedures for compliance with EHS requirements of the company and regulatory agencies (local, state/provincial and national).
- Support site with achievement of EHS objectives and targets.
- Support in the recognition, evaluation and control of work processes with potential hazard/risk exposures relative to safety and the environment.
- Conduct initial hazard/risk assessments and re-assessments of operations.
- Conduct health/safety programs promoting employee wellness.
- Assist with various EHS related audits and inspections.
- Support incident investigation and corrective action activities.
- Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.
