This position reports to: Operations Manager - Southwest Die Cast __ The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: Lead and manage the overall safety functions and ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and company policies. In partnership with managers and employees, the Safety Manager is also responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and that people work safely. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead HSE Culture & Compliance: Serve as the primary HSE liaison, embedding a strong health, safety, and environmental culture while ensuring organizational compliance with local regulations and ABB HSE standards. Strengthen HSE Capability & Risk Management: Optimize HSE processes and tools, oversee risk assessments, and ensure effective implementation of controls, preventive measures, and learning programs. Drive Incident Management & Continuous Improvement: Ensure timely reporting, investigation, and communication of incidents, sharing lessons learned and best practices to drive behavioral change and continual improvement. Monitor Performance & Manage Resources: Track and report HSE performance against KPIs and objectives, support budgeting for the function, and manage resources to meet financial and operational targets.
