About The Position

Prysmian Cables & Systems USA, LLC is seeking an HSE Intern for Summer 2027 at its Sedalia, Missouri plant. The intern will work on engaging, collaborative health, safety, and environmental projects that support continuous improvement at the site and across the company. The role reports daily to the on-site HSE Manager.

The intern must be able to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments and interact professionally with production employees, supervisors, maintenance personnel, Corporate HSE, and other departments. The schedule is 8-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must currently be pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be able to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Must be able to interact professionally with production employees, supervisors, maintenance personnel, Corporate HSE, and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned engaging and collaborative HSE projects to drive continuous improvement for the Sedalia site and the company.
• Work under the daily direction of the on-site HSE Manager.
• Interact professionally with production employees, supervisors, maintenance personnel, Corporate HSE, and other departments.
