About The Position

The HSE Coordinator will support and administer the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program for the US Rod Manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary HSE resource for manufacturing employees, supervisors, and site leadership, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company requirements. The position involves conducting inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and maintaining HSE records. Additionally, the coordinator will deliver safety orientations and training, monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies, and support audits. This role also involves promoting a positive safety culture and assisting the HSE Manager with various safety initiatives across different locations. Occasional travel is required to support HSE activities at U.S. operational locations.

Requirements

Diploma, certificate, or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing, industrial, oilfield, or related environment.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health and safety requirements.
Experience conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.
Familiarity with manufacturing safety practices, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, chemical safety, and equipment safety.
Ability to maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, training records, and corrective action tracking.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and electronic safety management systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting site leadership and contributing to a team environment.
Ability to travel occasionally within the United States.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain access to customer and operational sites as required.

Responsibilities

Support and administer the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program for the US Rod Manufacturing facility in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and company requirements.
Serve as the primary HSE resource for manufacturing employees, supervisors, and site leadership.
Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and safety observations to identify risks and promote safe work practices.
Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and hazards; complete documentation, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions to completion.
Maintain HSE records and documentation, including training records, inspections, incident reports, OSHA reporting requirements, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance records.
Coordinate and deliver employee safety orientations, required training, emergency response activities, and ongoing safety awareness initiatives.
Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, PPE requirements, machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, chemical safety requirements, and other manufacturing safety controls.
Support HSE & API, customer, internal, and regulatory audits by coordinating documentation, inspections, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HSE requirements, regulatory compliance, hazard prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist the HSE Manager - USA with safety programs, audits, inspections, incident investigations, training, and compliance activities at US Rod RSP locations and rod shop operations as required.
Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement, hazard reporting, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Travel occasionally to support HSE activities at U.S. operational locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
