Community Services Consortium has the unique opportunity to change lives by providing education, tools, and resources to help individuals and families chart a brighter course for their future. This position provides instruction and supervision in a safe and healthy learning environment for Head Start children. The role involves providing and coordinating education services, working in partnership with parents to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children. It encourages parent involvement, schedules educational home visits and parent-teacher conferences, develops and implements classroom curriculum, provides ongoing assessment of progress, and facilitates transition to kindergarten. The position also works toward compliance in all facets of Head Start and Oregon Pre-Kindergarten program performance standards and regulations.
