About The Position

Position Purpose As an HRIS Analyst, you will deliver customer service support for HR inquiries related to the HCM system, provide second-tier support for escalated issues, and manage system enhancements. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend and configure solutions. Location: This is a full time and fully onsite (40 hours a week Monday-Friday) position, working in a typical office environment, located in Columbia, South Carolina.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's. Degree Equivalency: Associates degree plus an extra 2 years job related work experience for a total of 5 years of required work experience (see "required work experience") OR 7 total years required work experience.
  • 3 years system support experience and customer service experience.
  • Strong customer focus, problem solving skills, and adaptable to change.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects timely and effectively.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience with technical requirements analysis, data and/or business process modeling/mapping, and knowledge of project methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong familiarity with LMS, ATS and HCM systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge in system configurations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hands-on experience configuring Workday Modules and/or Cornerstone systems or similar HCM/LMS systems.
  • Business Analysis or similar experience such as requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide second-tier support for HR Systems (Workday, Learning Management System, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Accurately process system tasks and requests from various areas and in accordance with SLAs to meet department and audit requirements.
  • Ensure business processes run smoothly, identify potential obstacles and troubleshoot issues within HR systems.
  • Perform job and system administration functions related to hires and onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary HR Systems analyst for assigned area(s).
  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct regular meetings to gather and define scope and objectives, track feature releases, and provide guidance to functional areas.
  • Manage and track all weekly system service updates.
  • Support system functional deliverables using project management techniques, including developing project plans, monitoring milestones, and coordinating projects to successful completion.
  • Assist in the testing execution phase of projects, including collection of project artifacts.
  • Escalate system issues to senior level team members.
  • Collaborate with other team members to solve complex problems and ensure department documentation is consistently reviewed and updated.
  • Engage in continuous education using appropriate content in library and apply knowledge to business processes where needed.
  • Responsible for identifying and analyzing repeated system issues, and making recommendations for updates, such as system enhancements, reeducation, training or process improvements.
