About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking an HRIS Specialist that is responsible for the implementation and development of the HRIS program for teammates company-wide. This is a full-time position located on-site in Abbeville, Alabama, just 30 minutes North of Dothan, Alabama. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field of study
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of the HRIS and its modules, interfaces, and day-to-day support activities.
- Provide system users with training and assistance and troubleshoot system issues.
- Own the HRIS and its modules and lead design and implementation activities.
- Continuously evaluate organizational needs relative to the HRIS.
- Ensure integrity and validity of all data entered into the HRIS.
- Develop, write, execute, and deliver reports as required or requested.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and understanding of trends in technology and standards of practice relevant to the management of the HRIS.
