About The Position

Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer, is seeking an HRIS Manager. This role reports into our Corporate Headquarters in Germantown, WI, and is an on-site/hybrid role. The position is ideal for someone passionate about HR technology and Workday, looking to grow their career within a family-run company with over 50 years of continuous growth. Ellsworth Corporation is a global distributor, manufacturer, and packager of adhesives used in various industries including cell phone, medical device, space/aerospace, and electric vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, IS, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years’ Workday experience supporting system maintenance/optimization and governance
  • Demonstrated experience in a technical role on one or more HR ERP implementation
  • Demonstrated experience with security administration and dashboards/analytics
  • Proven ability to lead major system activities without direct reports
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday configuration, security, reporting, and dashboards
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; attention to risk and data quality
  • Effective communication with HR and business partners; stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic and operational system owner for all HR technology systems, including Workday.
  • Manage day-to-day system performance, governance execution, security administration, releases, and configuration approvals.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain cross-functional alignment across Human Resources (HR), Finance, Payroll, and Information Technology (IT).
  • Own Workday governance and the operational roadmap, chairing the governance group to guide enhancement and optimization prioritization, decision making, and release readiness.
  • Review and approve configuration across all modules, enforcing standards for business processes, security, and data.
  • Manage security roles, audits, and remediation documentation and processes.
  • Develop and govern dashboards, analytics, and reporting strategy, overseeing complex calculated fields.
  • Develop and manage testing strategy for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression cycles, releases, patches, upgrades, and annual HR cycles readiness, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Oversee ticket triage and escalation, managing complex support.
  • Direct integration governance, vendor escalation, and third parties.
  • Own the data integrity program, ensuring it through audits, strong validation practices, and alignment with SOX and internal controls standards.
  • Accountable for training content, process documentation, and end-user training delivery quality.
  • Stay informed about trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques through the Workday Community and other sources to continually enhance both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment and requirements intake with HR COEs (Center of Excellence), Finance, Payroll, and IT.
