About The Position

Jeppesen ForeFlight is hiring an HRIS Manager to run the day-to-day technical operation of its HR systems and execute the direction set by the Director of HRIS. This is a hands-on systems role focused on configuration, workflow design, integrations, troubleshooting, testing, reporting, controls, and disciplined execution rather than HR policy work. The role works across HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to keep workforce data accurate, connected, secure, and scalable, and to support reliable workflows, integrations, access controls, audits, and implementations. The HRIS Manager will configure and maintain UKG and related HR technology; develop and improve workflows; support integrations and data feeds; resolve incidents; deliver implementations and enhancements; manage releases and changes; protect data integrity; administer security and access controls; enable reporting and analytics; coordinate vendors and cross-functional partners; maintain documentation and training materials; and provide operational insight and technical recommendations to the Director of HRIS while executing the approved HR technology roadmap.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, implementing, or integrating enterprise HRIS or business systems; experience must extend beyond ticket routing or functional administration.
  • Strong enterprise system configuration skills, including workflows, business rules, security roles, permissions, notifications, and testing in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated integration experience with APIs, web services, SFTP or file-based interfaces, data mapping, authentication, monitoring, error resolution, and reconciliation across connected systems.
  • Experience delivering system implementations or major enhancements from requirements and configuration through testing, cutover, hypercare, and transition to ongoing operations.
  • Strong reporting and data skills, including building complex reports or dashboards, validating data logic, and troubleshooting discrepancies; working knowledge of SQL or another query language.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology practices, including incident management, change control, release management, role-based access, audit trails, data governance, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including isolating cross-system issues, interpreting logs or error details, identifying root causes, assessing risk, and driving durable resolutions.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical teams, turn operational needs into clear system requirements, and explain technical constraints, options, and impacts in plain language.
  • Experience coordinating vendors and cross-functional partners through competing priorities, dependencies, escalations, and delivery commitments.
  • Sound judgment with sensitive workforce, identity, payroll, and compensation data, and consistent application of appropriate controls.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on UKG Pro configuration or technical administration experience; experience with UKG Workforce Management, UKG OneView, UKG BI/Cognos, or UKG integration tools is an additional advantage.
  • Experience with REST or SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, Postman, middleware or iPaaS platforms, secure file transfer, and identity or provisioning integrations.
  • Experience supporting multi-country, multi-entity environments, including global payroll integrations, data privacy requirements, or works council considerations.
  • Experience supporting SOC, SOX, ISO, internal audit, or comparable technology and data-control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance, learning, and identity-management processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Pilot or aviation enthusiast.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain UKG and related HR technology, including business rules, workflows, notifications, fields, security roles, permissions, and module settings; evaluate requests and implement supportable, scalable solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient workflows and approval paths, diagnose bottlenecks, reduce unnecessary manual steps, document decision logic, and improve the employee and administrator experience.
  • Support the design, build, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of integrations between UKG and enterprise systems, collaborating on APIs, web services, SFTP and file-based feeds, authentication, data mapping, error handling, and reconciliation.
  • Manage day-to-day system support, triage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate fixes, and maintain ownership through resolution; establish repeatable support processes, documentation, and service expectations.
  • Lead or support module rollouts, country and entity setups, system enhancements, and new technology implementations, including requirements, configuration, test plans, UAT coordination, defect management, data validation, cutover, hypercare, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Review vendor releases, assess business and integration impacts, coordinate regression testing, manage configuration changes, and maintain change records and technical documentation.
  • Perform recurring audits and reconciliations to protect employee, organizational, payroll, and security data; investigate exceptions and work with data owners to address root causes.
  • Administer role-based access and approval controls, support periodic access reviews, preserve audit trails, and provide evidence for audits; partner with IT, Legal, Payroll, and Finance on security, privacy, retention, and control requirements.
  • Build, maintain, and automate operational reports and dashboards using UKG reporting tools and other BI platforms; validate definitions and data logic for workforce reporting.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with UKG and other HR technology vendors, including support cases, implementations, deliverables, SLAs, escalations, and invoice or scope validation.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and business teams to clarify requirements, surface risks, and deliver practical system solutions; explain technical issues in plain language.
  • Maintain system diagrams, configuration records, integration specifications, runbooks, test evidence, and user guidance; create training and job aids for administrators, managers, and employees when functionality or processes change.
  • Provide the Director of HRIS with operational insight, technical recommendations, risk identification, project status, and capacity estimates; execute the approved HR technology roadmap and escalate decisions requiring strategic alignment.

  • 12 weeks of paid parent leave.
