About The Position

The HRIS & Benefits Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining digital personnel files and HR documentation, ensuring the confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of team member records. This role involves conducting audits of HR files, processing employment verifications and reference requests, and managing team member lifecycle transactions within the HRIS. Additionally, the coordinator will support benefits administration, including annual open enrollment, managing bonus programs, reconciling benefit invoices, and serving as a backup for new hire benefits orientations. The position also provides general administrative and clerical support across HR functions, responds to team member inquiries, supports HR events and initiatives, and delivers exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree + 3 years of administrative/support experience
  • Experience working within an HR function preferred
  • Experience supporting benefits/open enrollment preferred
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build positive working relationships

Responsibilities

  • Maintain digital personnel files and HR documentation within systems such as SharePoint.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of team member records.
  • Conduct audits of HR files to support compliance and record retention requirements.
  • Process employment verifications and reference requests.
  • Manage team member lifecycle transactions, including new hires, transfers, and terminations within the HRIS.
  • Update and maintain team member information and HRIS records.
  • Support annual benefit open enrollment and communications for team members.
  • Assist with administration of team member bonus programs.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Serve as a backup for new hire benefits orientations and enrollment activities.
  • Escalate urgent or complex benefits issues to appropriate HR staff.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support across HR functions.
  • Respond to team member inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Support HR events and initiatives, including health fairs, benefits education, and team member appreciation and recognition programs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to team members, vendors, and external partners.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
