About The Position

Graphic Packaging International is a leading manufacturer of paperboard and paper-based packaging for various global brands. They are seeking an HRBP Manager to provide HR consulting to the business, focusing on solving people and cultural issues, enabling business change, advocating for HR programs, and partnering on talent initiatives. The role involves directing and guiding the work of others, managing direct reports, and achieving operational results. Responsibilities include people management actions like hiring, termination, rewarding, training, and development. Progression in this role reflects increased scope, responsibilities, and expertise in business, industry, process, and people leadership. This role also includes responsibilities related to Safe Quality Food (SQF), requiring adherence to plant rules, processes, hygiene, and allergen procedures. Employees must report potentially unsafe conditions and participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • HR consulting and coaching, including working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues.
  • Providing expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment, including hiring, termination, performance management, and rewards.
  • Enabling business change by supporting talent aspects of organization structure changes and talent integration related to mergers & acquisitions.
  • Advocating for HR programs by communicating their business value and managing rollouts to minimize business disruption.
  • Partnering with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives such as workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, and succession planning.
  • Monitoring and achieving operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
  • Performing people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
  • Adapting departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term challenges.
  • Solving problems following operational policies and understanding the broader impact across the department.
  • Acting as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
  • Applying understanding of the business and how their area integrates with others to achieve department objectives.
  • Interpreting and administering policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Developing and administering schedules and performance requirements.
  • Following all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures related to the production of Safe Quality Foods.
  • Reporting any potentially unsafe conditions that may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
  • Participating in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions as required.
  • Following all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
