HR Talent Partner

Missouri Star QuiltHamilton, MO

About The Position

MSQC is seeking an HR Talent Partner responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning support primarily across retail and warehouse functions. This role ensures MSQC attracts, hires, and retains the right people by managing full-cycle recruitment, maintaining strong talent pipelines, and partnering closely with managers to meet current and future staffing needs. The Talent Partner balances workforce planning with hands-on recruitment delivery in a scarcity-driven talent market. This includes forecasting hiring demand, managing targeted recruitment across a small number of concurrent, often hard-to-fill roles, and ensuring a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience. The role operates in a continuous sourcing environment requiring sustained pipeline development rather than reactive recruitment. The role also leads on employer branding initiatives and talent attraction efforts, using market insights, creative sourcing strategies, data, and modern selection methods to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness, hiring quality, and the overall candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Proven, end-to-end recruiting experience in operations/frontline environments.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully recruiting in rural communities by building strong local relationships, utilizing community resources, and employing innovative, non-traditional recruiting strategies to attract talent
  • Ability to source, assess, and hire across multiple job families with an innovative and forward-thinking mindset
  • Creative, strategic talent sourcing, workforce planning and strength in analytics.
  • Stakeholder savvy; you build trusted relationships internally and in the community.
  • Experience with employer brand, candidate communications, and process design.
  • Organized project manager; pragmatic, people-first, and tenacious.
  • Creative, future-proofed attitude towards building talent pools
  • Excellent knowledge of Google-suite, remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom etc.), HRIS, ATS applications, Benefits portals applications, and a quick learner with new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment forecasting, planning, and execution across hourly roles and select corporate roles.
  • Optimize the workforce—shifts, staffing models, and productivity—based on data and trends.
  • Build pipelines and retention strategies; nurture internal mobility, leverage referrals, and cultivate future candidate pools focusing on creative sourcing strategies and innovative approaches to candidates attraction.
  • Partner with Managers to deliver the Talent strategy and deliver a standout candidate experience.
  • Partner with Managers to identify skills gaps, conduct Training Needs Analysis, and work closely with the broader HR team to develop solutions.
  • Drive employer branding and talent marketing (local partnerships, social recruiting).
  • Use HRIS/ATS data to track funnel health and improve quality of hire.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • PTO
  • 401(k) with company match
