About The Position

Pure Power Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR & Talent Intern to join our Human Resources team for the Fall 2026 semester and to assist with a wide range of talent, recruiting and HR administrative tasks. The HR & Talent Intern will gain hands-on experience across human resources, talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement while supporting the HR & Talent team. Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you'll gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle while contributing to meaningful projects that support our growing organization. Pure Power is an engineering firm specializing in designing big, challenging, and high-profile Solar PV systems. As a full-service engineering firm, we create the electrical and structural drawings and calculation packages for bidding, permits and construction, as well as supporting the lead up to the full engineering drawings, primarily interconnection support and electrical/structural feasibility studies. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship in HR or Talent, campus leadership, customer service, administrative, or office experience.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or recruiting tools through coursework or prior experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee records and files with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing HR-related correspondence, documents, and communications.
  • Support the coordination of HR processes, policies, and employee programs.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including onboarding documentation, background checks, and employment paperwork.
  • Support employee orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Assist with performance review administration and employee feedback processes.
  • Help coordinate employee learning and development initiatives and training programs.
  • Assist with resume screening and interview scheduling.
  • Maintain applicant information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with preparing offer letters and onboarding documentation.
  • Support campus recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and recruiting events.
  • Continually add value to the organization beyond your day-to-day tasks.
  • Assist with reporting and data analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative workflows.
  • Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
